Full thick polished stainless steel with extra thick stainless flanges to prevent warping and stainless hangers. Works only on 1.4T engine. Will not work on the 1.8 engines. Must be the turbocharged engine. Direct bolt on. Will Not Work on the Sonic. Gaskets are not included. Factory gaskets are metal and reuseable. This will bolt right up to your factory or aftermarket o2 housing/downpipe and your factory or aftermarket catback exhaust. We also sell a tubular o2 housing/downpipe that mates to this that you can find searching our other auctions. This is our newest design. Before it was over 54 inches long and was expensive to ship and were not able to ship by USPS going overseas to Australia and Canadian customers due to that oversized packaging it required. Now we redesigned it so that it is two pieces where it is a slip fit and includes a torctite clamp to secure the two pipes together. Slip fit means one side of the piping is expanded on one end so the other pipe slides into it and the clamp secures the two together tightly so there are no chances of exhaust leaks. Same exact mid pipe before except it is now much cheaper to ship and we are able to ship overseas for our international customers. If you are bolting up to your factory o2 housing it will not throw a check engine light as the factory midpipe does not have a cat either. But if you have an aftermarket o2 housing that eliminates the factory cat as the factory cat is in the o2 housing. This upgraded, higher quality midpipe is 50 state EPA legal. All Direct Bolt on.
