The eight panels used to make the zucchetto are precisely top-stitched as is the bottom edge. It is lined with high quality, medium weight, off-white, pre-shrunk, 100% linen, also made with 8 panels. There is a twisted stem of roman purple piping (stirpis) at the center crown.
