Description: Zeiss Axiostar Plus Microscope 5x 10x 40x + 100x Oil Objective CP-Achromat. Zeiss Axiostar Plus Microscope 5x 10x 40x + 100x Oil Objective CP-Achromat. This came to me listed as broken with a question mark on its tape label from my local college. I recently had two others of the same scope whose condenser stage would not move much as if they wanted them fixed. This one exhibited the same behavior hence the broken ? labeling on it but the difference being this one has an intentional stop installed on the condenser stage in the form of a orange piece of plastic/nylon tubing. I assume they wanted the condensers fixed in whatever lab they were using this in on campus. So you have to be skilled enough in scope disassembly to remove the condenser stage and then the piece of tubing in order to get the full movement out of it. Four objectives on board all CP-Achromats 5x 10x 40x and a 100x oil. Lens outers show some dust from time in the lab. Also shows some university id marks in various spots. Also shows some dust and some light scuff marks as well as university decals. See photos and the additional photos in description box.
