Young Boy with Pet Rabbits Victorian Style Oil Painting

Description: this is an incredibly cute oil on canvas painting of a little boy sitting down with his arm around a black & white mother rabbit & with two baby rabbits sitting in the boy's lap - there is a third white baby rabbit by the mother - it appears that the boy & rabbits are sitting in the interior of a barn as the background is somewhat rustic in appearance - this very well-done painting is probably a replication of a 19th century Victorian oil painting when one considers the subject matter as well as the extraordinary contemporary wooden Victorian style frame that is original to the painting - the painting was done sometime in the 2000's considering the lack of oxidation on the reverse of the painting & the reverse of the frame - the gifted artist who signed the painting as "T. Kennedy" created a wonderfully happy & satisfied young boy with a great expression on his face - the rabbits were painted in simple but life-like colors & facial expressions that express their comfort with the young boy - the painting measures a generous 20" x 24" sight size, but, appears larger due to the oversize 29" x 33" ornate Victorian frame which decorates the painting - the many photos will be part of the description of this painting - to save on shipping cost, this painting can be picked up at my location in Swanzey, NH -
