Description: Yooperlite collection - 3 BRIGHT randomly patterned (1 - 3 oz. Total) Lake Superior stones. Syenite with UV Fluorescent Sodalite Inclusion. Photo is an example only, pattern will vary slightly, but you will receive yooperlite of similar quality and size shown in photos. I believe this type of rounded quality sodalite stone is found mostly around the shore of Lake Superior, and in gravel areas nearby. Found and sent from the Upper (Yooper) Peninsula of Michigan, home of the "Yooperlite". The light used for photos is a 365nm LONG WAVE UV light, color may vary depending on the light used to make them fluoresce. A blacklight 395 nm style lamp is not recommended for best color. Stones were dry in all photos, wet or polished stones appear more bright and gemmy. A quarter and ruler were used in photos to help indicate the size of the stones.
