These Chick Waterers are made here in the United States by a small company that has been in business since 1974 producing this line of feed and water containers for caged animals and poultry. You supply the wide mouth Jar which you probably already have or can buy most anywhere. I buy them in 2nd hand stores for $1 or less. Most of these Chick Waterers use small mouth mason jars. I like the big mouth jars because you can get your hand down in them and clean them more thoroughly. This is a good design.You simply slide your wide mouth mason jar on the chick waterer and it locks in place which is faster & less trouble than the screw on type. If you are like me anything you can do to save time is worth the investment. If I make an improvement on my farm that saves me 5 minutes a day x 365 days a year = 30.41 hours a year that I can be doing something else.
