Description: Yamantaka with His Consort – The God of Protection This is an original hand-painted Black and gold masterpiece, Yamantaka Tibetan Thangka Painting. Yamantaka is a god of protection against enemies. He is depicted with a Buffalo head and is regarded as a Buddhist Guardian god. Yamantaka is viewed as the wrathful form of Manjushri in the full expression of his powers. He has seven angry heads and a large buffalo head at the center, topped with another angry head and Manjushri's, with nine faces, 34 hands, and 16 legs. His red hair stands on end "with scorpion-sting shaped tips." His mouth is open to reveal fangs and a lolling tongue seeking blood and other tastes. The eyes are large and protruding, with a third eye at the forehead's center. The eyebrows are angrily knitted and raised. At the apex of the crown above the head of a garuda is a peaceful head of the Bodhisattva Manjusri, of whom Yamantaka is the ferocious emanation. The central main hands hold a chopping knife and a human skull bowl embracing the consort. The other hands hold pairs of knives and axes, ritual bells, human feet, daggers with handles in the shape of vajras, tiger's paws, freshly severed fifty heads, and menacing pointing fingers. He embraces the consort Vajra Vetali, who has one face and two hands and is holding a skull cup on the left. The right legs of Bhairava are bent, exerting pressure on different animals and gods, while the left legs are straight and exerting pressure on various birds and gods. Bhairava is standing above an orange sun disc and multi-colored lotus, surrounded by the orange and red flames of pristine awareness. In front of the lotus is a skull cup filled with various offerings. • Size of the painting Only: 18 x 24- Inch ( 46 x 61 cm) • Surface Material: Handmade Cotton Canvas• Paint Medium: Gold and Natural Colors• Origin: Hand Painted In Nepal• Quality: High Quality/ Master Quality- Color Variance: Please be aware that the actual color of the paintings may exhibit slight variations due to the light conditions during photo shooting and the resolution of computer screens.- In-Person Brilliance: The visual impact of the paintings is more captivating when experienced in person, surpassing the representation captured in photographs.Size Clarification: Please note that the painting's mentioned size does not account for the outer border, which contributes to a nuanced and visually dynamic presentation.- Secure Packaging: To ensure the safe delivery of these artistic treasures, each painting will be meticulously packed inside a PVC Tube, guaranteeing safety during transportation.- Buyer's Responsibility: Please be aware that any import duties, taxes, and additional charges at the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer, adding a layer of transparency to the purchasing process.
