Description: Yamaha YSL-653 Professional Trombone. Serial # 011169. 8” brass bell, .500 bore. Serial number and style of counterweight date it to the late 1980s, early 1990s. Finish in poor shape (see pics), plus small dent in tuning slide which does not affect intonation. Inner slide in excellent shape, and slide as a whole works great. Excellent tone! Water key in good shape. Will come shipped securely in original case, which is in decent shape, with a Denis Wick 5BS mouthpiece. Local pick-up preferred, but will ship domestically (buyer pays). Prefer NOT to ship internationally—too much of a hassle. I’d keep the horn myself, but I prefer a .508 bore, so it’s just been sitting in a closet.
