Description: YAMAHA QS300 OWNERS Updike Programming is pleased to introduce this 3 Volume Package of custom programmed sounds for the Yamaha QS300. These are professional sounding, tight programs that are meant to be used live as well as in the studio. This is a specially priced package of all 3 custom programmed disks previously offered for the QS300 end-user that wishes to buy all 3 Volumes at special pricing. This a new offering, comes with cases and will be mailed in a padded envelope. I also extensively use Verbatim HD disks for quality and longevity. The programmer of this set of custom sounds has spent countless hours perfecting each and every instrument sound, to sound the utmost realistic. A note from the programmer:Please read through my Volume 1, 2 and 3 QS300 ads for programming specifics and insight. I will list sounds and offerings below. Disk 1 contains the following: This is a Yamaha QS300 Diskette with 64 patches all organized into 8 basic categories that should appeal to most genres of music and to those seeking high quality, full sounding/analog like programs. Programs are 8 patches by 8 sections in the following order. PIANOS 2 Grand PIanos, 6 EPs (tend to be multilayered creative type of EP sounds)ORGANS Mostly Hammond type, very full, mostly Rock, Progressive (such as ELP) and Pop.STRINGS & CHOIRS From realistic strings sounds to tape strings, a few choirsPOLY SYNTHS Very full, most are 4 layers, some sound real deal analog, but, with the stability of a newer digital synth.PADS Full sound and great tone (as with rest of patches), from string type to synth typesCOMBIS Mostly creative, multilayered, 1 is a true split, 1 is layered and 1 sound is split, similar to the Roland XP and Korg 01/w combisLEAD SYNTHS Mostly vintage from the Days of the mini moog and ARP 2600, did this with poly mode so that duads, triads and single notes can all be incoparated into solos. Very much reflects the sounds from Tony Banks/Emerson/Patrick Moraz sounds of the 70'sINSTRUMENTS Fender Bass, Stick Bass, 3 guitars, Tenor Sax, Flute, Trumpet Disk 2 contains the following: Pianos (8), Electric Pianos (8), Brass (both synth and acoustic) (8), Strings + Pads(8), Bellish synths + Combi's (8), Synths (16), Bass (8) and Instruments (8). There are a few (about 4 or 5) that are also on VOL 1 and thus the reason for 68 programs instead of 64. I did this thinking that this disk may appeal more to some Jazz/Pop players who would be more interested in this disk rather than Vol 1 and would need a few patches that were on Vol 1 . Synths are multi layered, touch sensitive, mod wheel, on some patches and can be operated much like an analog type of control in terms of sound adjustment. Also, all patches are multi layered even on non synth patches to give a full realistic sound.
