You have to press the switch a little hard, but you can switch everything. The cartridge was also usable. The liquid crystal display is good, but it says battery low. The previous owner seems to have replaced the internal battery with a battery box type. (I didn't open the unit to check it, so I haven't checked it yet, but I've been using the display as it was clean.) The tone is also loaded with factory data.
