Description: Here we have a rare kitchen appliance by a company that very little is known about. Tag is marked: "The Charles Oven" mfg. by Charles Mfg. Co. Overland (14) Missouri (northwest of St. Louis). It is in very nice condition with original paint and no dents or dings. Has very good cord and works good. Heats up quickly!! Temperature knob has settings from 150 degrees to 550 degrees and indicator light works!! Comes on when turned on and indicator light goes off when desired temperature is reached. Guessing it dates 1940's - 50's. Not too heavy, weighs about 20 lbs. Small company, so I doubt there are very many of these to be found.
