I just wired this upto my receiver and they so and they sound great. PLEASE NOTE - the 1 speaker hinge point between the upper and lower cube speaker is broken. It still twist but if you lift the upper speaker up, you can see where it's no longer attached to the plastic hinge point between the 2 speakers.
