For comics, it is as follows: Brand New Comic is flawless and comes sealed in shrink wrap or some sort of factory bag or packaging. Some hardcovers or trade paperbacks might not be sealed but they will be new and unread. Like New Comic is near flawless, with white pages and glossy cover. There might be very minute signs of wear, but they will be barely noticeable. Very Good Comic has some visible flaw or flaws, but will still be in very nice condition. There might be slight curving or wear on spine. A minor crease or stain. There might be very slight yellowing of pages or the cover might be off center. Good Comic has obvious signs of wear. May have minor tears or edge wear. Interior may be yellow or faded. But it will still look decent and be readable. Acceptable Comic has major issues. Tears, creases, stains or edge wear.
