Description: This item is a handmade Texas long-horn drinking horn. The leatherwork around the horn is hand tooled and styled in an Asatru/Viking/Pagan style. The top section is Hugnin and Munin surrounding the Horn of Odin in a tribal style and the bottom is Mjollnir, our beloved Thor's hammer. The color is officially called Oxblood (how metal is that right?) and it's a scarlet red color. The horn was sourced from a ranch in Texas and because it is a natural product each horn will have it's own shape and color scheme. The strap is removable, and it is long enough that you can wear the horn along your back or curve it around the hips. My horns are coated on the inside with Watco Butcher Block Oil and Finish (https://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/watco/butcher-block-oil-and-finish) and can be used for both hot and cold beverages. I have cured them with some beer to try to lessen the scent of the finish, but if there is some remaining scent, the finish itself is completely food safe.
