All types of items were collected, cajoled and collected by everyone on the X-FILES, both cast + crew, and an online auction right here on eBay took place over the course of a week to raise both funds and awareness of this crippling disease.I participated in this event, and won several items, of which this is one. But I was outbid on another dozen items...but all for a worthy cause. If you won a small item (a crew hat, stationary, etc) you were sent a postcard from Gillian's website, thanking you for your participation. If you an item over $300 or more, you got this card as thanks. Please see pics. The auction raised $148,851.28 for Neurofibromatosis Inc. So, Chris Carter signed this script - it's not a real shooting script from the show, but one from the Official X-File Fan Club - and added the show's catch-phrase, 'The Truth Is Out There' above his signature. I've decided to part with some of my exhaustive collections, and just unboxed a bunch of rare X-File memorabilia - various press kits, autographed scripts + photos, watches, promo items, signed magazines, posters and a few props from the show.
