Description: WWII Era German S84/98 Bayonet w/Scabbard for the K98 Mauser Rifle Bayonet - Marked: Elite Diamant - Very Nice Condition Up for sale is a WWII Era German S84/98 Bayonet with Scabbard for the K98 Mauser Rifle. The bayonet is marked: Elite Diamant on the side of the blade and 568 on the other, see photos. The edge of the blade is dated 1939. The blade shows no evidence of excessive sharpening. The blade is blued with very minor finish and scabbard wear. It has the brown bakelite grip panels. The grips are in Nice Condition, no cracks in the grips or chips, just the normal minor dings and handling marks. The pommel has the German eagle proof marks. The scabbard is in Nice condition as well, one dent, a few minor dings, see photo. No rust or pitting on the scabbard. The scabbard is marked: 42asw and 7788 over l. It has the German eagle proof on the tip of the scabbard. Overall this Bayonet is in Very NICE condition. Please see photo.
