Description: Here we have a World War II German Afrika Korps Privat First Class tropical rank pip that is in very good condition. It is constructed of a white cotton thread machine embroidered pip on a tan herringbone twill background. The insignia has faded, presumably from prolonged exposure to the African sun. The reverse is with a manufacturer’s logo at the top and the date, “1938” at the bottom. It displays some age soiling from use but remains a nice-looking insignia.5496
