Description: Original WWII German 84/98 III 98k bayonet E&F Horster 40 with matching scabbard. Bayonet and scabbard numbered 12050n on the front and marked "E&F Horster" on the reverse. The blade has 99% of the blueing and is unsharpened, also with no in and out wear. The pommel has most of the blueing and 1 WaA mark and patina, the press stud functions fine and the dark brown bakelite grips are nice. The crossguard has little wear on the finish, and the flashguard has most of its finish and some patina. The scabbard has most of the finish remaining with some patina and is dent free. The bayonet comes complete with a Czech period frog marked 1938 and with the number4993. I have taken pictures of the serial numbers and markings on the bayonet and scabbard but cant take the frog off to get a picture of the back of the scabbard, but it is marked E&F Horster 1940.
