Description: Offering my 100% genuine signature of WWII P-51 fighter pilot Capt. John C. Fitch, USAAF (1917-2012). Fitch served with the 335th FS/4th FG during WWII. He was credited with 1/2 victory over an ME-262 along with Capt. John Creamer. In February 1945 he was downed by flak and spent the remainder of the war as a POW. His combat decorations include the DFC, Air Medal w/ 5 OLCs, and the POW Medal. After the war he became an accomplished race car driver and inventor. He invented the Fitch Barrier, the yellow sand-filled barrels that protect guard rails and abutments on exit ramps. Read the entire listing carefully.
