Description: WWII Era US Army/USMC OD Green Canvas Duffel Bag or Sea Bag - Dated 1944 - Nice Condition Up for sale is a WWII Era US Army/USMC OD Green Canvas Duffel Bag or Sea Bag. The Bag is made of heavy cotton duck material with a carry handle and shoulder strap. This bag was used by the Army and USMC during and after the WWII for the troops to carry all of their personal items, clothing and gear to their respective duty stations. This particular example is used, see photo's for Condition. Some minor fading, as is consistent with it 70+ year age. No rips or tears. There is a pleat sewn down the lower portion of the rear of the bag, see photos. It has the manufacturer markings and is dated 1944. It has a soldiers name and service number stenciled on the front of the bag, see photo. This is a WWII Era accessory that is often overlooked or forgotten about in most WWII Era Collections.
