Description: Mistel Drone Bomb Ju88 & Fw190 This is a nice reproduction of an original WW2 photograph showing a Luftwaffe Mistel bomb, which consisted of a unmanned Ju88 loaded with two tons of explosive, flown from the attached Fw190 fighter. The combination was primarily used against large allied warships, with about 250 produced by Germany in WWII. Upon approaching the target, the fighter would release the explosive laden bomber to continue to the target while the fighter was free to return to base. Size is about 4" x 6".
