Description: WWI British Army Pattern 1913 Bayonet Marked: Remington 1916 w/British Proofs & Leather Scabbard - for US M1917 or British P1914 Enfield Rifle & All US Trench Shotguns - Very NICE ConditionUp for sale is a WWI British Army Pattern 1913 Bayonet with Leather Scabbard. This bayonet is dated 1916 with Remington in a circle on one side & British proofs on the other side. The Blade still has the Original two toned finish. No rust. Some minor surface pitting spots. Some discoloration spots on the blade. There is no evidence of sharpening on the blade. The markings are easy to read. Walnut grips are in Very NICE Condition. No chips. Showing normal handling marks. The scabbard is a British P1907 Scabbard with the leather body and metal throat and tip. The leather is supple, no cracks or crazing. It has the metal tip and throat, no markings on the metal. The leather body has no visible marking. Please see photos for details and condition.
