Description: German U-Boat U-2513 This is a nice reproduction of an original World War Two photo showing German U-Boat U-2513, one of the ultra-modern Type XXI boats that saw service near the end of the war. 2513 did not complete any war patrols, but at the very end of her career with the German Kriegsmarine she was captained by the well known U-Boat Captain Erich Topp. U-2513 was taken into service by the US after the war and served with the US Navy for several years.
