Description: WW2 OMEGA PILOTS WRISTWATCH (6B/159) DATED 1943 Extremely rare wristwatch as issued to pilots during WW2. This particular watch is dated to the rear with RAF serial number 6633 followed by '43'. Full working order and keeps good time. The manufacturers serial number stamped on the edge of movement is 9738562, which, according to OMEGA records, confirms the aforementioned. Case in good condition with minor marks commensurate with age/usage. Dial shows a nice slightly discoloured patina. This watch is now around 80 years old and is a testament to its build quality at the time. It may have been sitting for many years without being serviced, so would obviously benefit from same. Strap is a modern (almost new) nylon NATO style, in black.
