Description: Original WW2 British Army / RAF map entitled "HAVRE - AMIENS" featuring the stretch of the RIVER SEINE that runs from Rouen to the English Channel. Clearing all German troops from the West bank of the River Seine was the ultimate aim of Operation Overlord, and when this was achieved on the 30th August 1944, the Operation was finally declared a success.
