Description: For sale here is an unusual WW2 German Proclamation for the Occupied Country of Latvia. The paper is marked Riga and is dated 1942. The paper appears to have been used as a poster and there are nail holes at the top. There is some handwriting on the top, some corner damage, folding, and significant yellowing. This will be shipped folded as shown. I have not translated all of this, but it seems to be saying that farmers must provide for the cities, but that the farmers have rights and will be allowed to keep a certain amount of crops. This is sign bi an SA Oberfuhrer. The paper is single sided and measures approximately 12 1/2" tall X 10 1/2" wide. A rare an interesting piece of German Occupation Propaganda and Directive for Latvian Farmers. Please see all pictures for full condition report.
