She was seized by the Italians in 1942, renamed FR-41, later taken by the Germans and renamed TA-9, she was sunk in an air raid in Toulon, 23 August 1944 The 12 small photos 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" show the French fleet in Toulon that was scuttled by the Germans in 1944 to avoid capture during retreat Photos are labelled and dated, small photos are stamped with the ship name. Large photo has small tear at the noon position. Small photo of Algerie has small rip. All photos show signs of handling, wear and light damage, some more than others.
