Description: This sale offers a vintage and original Canadian Army Cap Badge issued to the 17th Duke of York's Royal Canadian Hussars during World War II. This regiment was mobilized in Montreal Canada and landed with the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division at Normandy (D-Day) during the war. The regiment also served at Caen, Falaise, Belgium, and Holland. Measures 5 cm x 4.5 cm. Constructed of brass. Both lugs are present. Condition is very good, may have some slight surface wear / discoloration from age. Great patina! Genuine - Over 75 years old!
