Description: you are admiring a unique example of ww2 folk art. this is a hand made wood cigarette case. the case has carved wing and prop on the front, and a movable prop closure on the top [see pix]. the case is name to pvt Robert Egloff, Miami Beach fl, 2/13/43, on the back side of the closure propeller. also, there are the names of many ww2 af bases printed and written on the case.all in all, the case is in superb condition, and only showing minimal fading to the writing and surface coating. the case can be used for storage of small items such as sewing needles, ampules, match sticks, and of course, cigarettes. it measures appx: 3 1/2" x 5 1/8" x 3/8". the case will be shipped in a usps priority small insured box.
