Two metal hinges. Two side handles in wood or cord. Late war example, this wooden box replaces the metal model, resources were scarce. All the hooks and hinges are intact, works well Paper labels are present, outside one is poorly saved but inside label is just perfect. Box is originall painted in light brown, has several red lines. All paint is perfectly saved Has a original manufacturers stamp: Waffen eagle, 1944, and maker mark: "egh" (very rare manufacturer) Black ink writing outside the box were mostly saved.
