Benjamin Ward Sill was born at Stratford, Essex, England and was a Barber by trade. He attested 5 March 1915 at Toronto stating 12 years prior service with The Rifle Brigade and being 40 years of age. He had numerous infractions in the field and also 63 days loss of pay for hospitalization VDG. Wounded 25/8/16 right arm.
