Who made the watch remains unclear as pieces meant for military use during the First and Second World Wars were left intentionally unbranded because make and model weren't especially important in that context. What was far more important was that they were sturdy, accurate, and reliable as they were supposed to be worn by soldiers fighting for their homelands. Whether this one has ever seen combat up close is for you to decide, but the fact remains that it has an undeniably haunting aura about it.
