Description: WW1 British War Medal to Hearl, 7th (British Columbia) Battalion CEF, Died 1919 Impressed to : 657610 PTE. V.R. HEARL. 7 CAN. INF. Victor Randolph Hearl was born 17th December 1895 at Fox Bay, Ontario and was a Labourer by occupation when he attested on 21 Feb. 1916 at Parry Sound, Ontario. Initially served in the 123rd Grenadiers. He was wounded on 15/8/17 with a GSW to the head. He died 23 Feb. 1919 of Pneumonia that was said to be due to war service, he lies buried at Huy Communal Cemetery. GVF on original ribbon.
