I had a couple more occasions to wear it, but it has been tucked away every since. Time to find it a new home. There are 12 strands with the shortest 18" and the longest 39". Please note that I did not include the hardware or extending chain in the measurements. I'm not sure what all of the different beads and stones are. But after doing some research I believe the natural shaped gemstones of varying shapes are black tourmaline. Perhaps there are black onyx beads as well. I have several close up photos of the stones, showing that they are mostly deep black, but some have lines, a very few are more translucent, and some have wonderful bright pinpoints of red light shining through.
