See below for complete information on the condition of this beautifully-preserved classic issue Long term storage in a Mylar bag with an acid-free boarduntil submission to CGC!! This issue was bagged and boarded since purchase and (since 1990, when I learned about the superior results attainable with archival storage products and moved my entire collection into those products) it was preserved in a thick archival Mylar bag with a heavy-weight acid-free board, and stored in my smoke-free, pet-free, climate-controlled home. It was removed from its Mylar bag for the first time by CGC!! I submitted it to CGC to be graded and encased and it was returned, with a 6.5 Grade (and - as of 8/29/22 - this RARELY seen gem is one of only 62 copies EVER graded with a Universal Label by CGC, and you can be POSITIVE that - since it's SIX DECADES old - VERY few of them are going to have WHITE pages like this one does!! Although this copy got a relatively low grade, it looks MUCH better - as you can see in the 12 photos that accompany the listing. Check THEM out, along with the COMPLETE text of the CGC Grader Notes - specified below!!) This copy, both before and after processing by CGC, NEVER has spent a single day in an attic, basement or storage unit, (and it NEVER will as long as I own it!) Since I received it from CGC it has been stored in, and it will be shipped to its new owner in, its CGC-issued protective polybag.Thanks to careful handling, and long-term storage in Mylar, and despite the fact that it became SIX DECADES old, in 2022, this issue STILL looks QUITE impressive, especially in its CGC case specifying that it still has WHITE pages!! Note that the photos used in this listing are not stock images. They are images of the exact copy being offered for sale. The photos show the covers, the CGC Grade plus creator and content details, and all the corners, edges and ends of the new and unblemished CGC case. Check out other CGC-graded copies - of ANY 60 year old title - either for sale and recently sold on eBay, and compare their pix to the ones in this listing, and you'll see for YOURSELF that this is a particularly GREAT looking copy of a comic of its age - looking like it deserves BETTER than the 6.5 grade that it received! (The CGC Grader Notes specified the blemishes that resulted in the 6.5 grade. They stated (in their entirety): "light spine stress lines breaks color"; "light staining right center of back cover"; "light wear left top of front cover" and "moderate wear left top of back cover" . With WHITE PAGES, a reasonably bright and reflective cover with fairly sharp and unfaded colors, and with noted blemishes that you can closely evaluate in the 12 high resolution photos I've included with the listing - I think you'll come to the conclusion that this copy looks WAY, WAY, better than you'd expect for a 6.5!!
