And now we are now offering the Partial Dinner Unit or PDU. Boom! Everything you need for impression, event or just experience exactly what soldiers during WWII were issued. COMPLETELY READY TO EAT! We’ve spent years researching and reproducing rations for reenactors and living history displays! Countless hours of research and using our own personal collection as a template to build the best instant rations for you! What makes HERO RATIONS WWII rations the BEST out there: 1. multiple sources for packaging, materials and ingredients 2. We use originals in our collection to help reproduce contents exact to originals 3. No expense spared to develop kits Contents: The PDU would come in the 10-in-1 ration with the idea being soldiers would have food handy mid-day while on the move or in combat. The PDU boxed food would be issued with a can of meat, egg product or cheese. We’re offering the PDU completely stock PLUS the correct canned product as a low cost and pocket friendly alternative from reenactors vs the K Ration. The menu options varied so to make it easy - AT CHECKOUT OR MESSAGE US - you can choose your own box menu number, and choice of breakfast, dinner or supper contents! Each PDU contains two packs of correctly packaged historically accurate biscuits (made exactly to WW2 specifications), Wrigley’s gum, confection (fruit bar, D Ration bar or box of caramels), drink mix (soluble coffee in laminate foil packet, lemon juice powder or beef bouillon powder), sugar in correct packaging and choice of entree meal can. All contents are full and fully edible and accurately reproduced! All boxed contents are correctly packaged in the correct sized PDU box with die cut tuck in flaps on both ends with historically correct printing. Breakfast items: Soluble coffee, fruit bar, ham and eggs, sugar, biscuits and gumDinner items: Lemon juice powder, caramels, processed cheese (contains chicken in can), sugar was sometimes included, biscuits and gumSupper items: Bouillon powder, D Ration 2oz bar, pork loaf, sugar biscuits and gum NOTES: Biscuits are made to the correct WWII specifications (K-2 graham, K-4 or C-Type). These biscuits are correctly made using a 3-D printed mold, using flour I mill at home with a Nutrimill Harvest, invert sugar, milk powder, cane sugar, soda, malt, sea salt, (molasses and wheat germ for the K-2 biscuits) and pork lard. Processed foods are produced using GMP techniques in sanitary environment. Biscuits contain: wheat, cane sugar, invert sugar, pork lard, salt, baking powder, milk powder, malt powder. K-2 biscuits also contain molasses and wheat germ. Meat cans will be ham, chicken or pork depending on availability. We use ham for ham and eggs, chicken for the cheese can and pork for the pork loaf can. Cans are have a small discreet label with contents and use by date.
