Description: Wooden Japanese Cottage OKIMONO. Up for sale is an antique Japanese cottage house ornament. This looks like it could have been used for candles or to hold some sort of lighting source. It’s got a hole on the top and it comes apart into several pieces. I only split it in two because the other pieces are hard to come off and I did not want to risk breaking it. I found it in this condition and did not tamper with it any further as I do not know if this will affect the quality of the wood in any way. The white panels come off so you could see what is on the inside. Any major flaw is pictured, and it might just be how the item was constructed but I took pictures anyways.
