Other: Leopold Edmond Emile Delannoy (1817-1888), French actor/comedian in the French theater and vaudeville. He seems to have also been involved in puppetry or the French Theatre of Marionettes. The Theatre des Bouffes Parisiens was founded by composer Jacques Offenbach in 1855 and continues to feature the many notables in the performing arts with an emphasis in Opera. Noted on the Luminous-Lint site, French photographer Alphonse J. Liebert operated a photographic studio in California during the gold rush era before working in Paris in 1863. He is known for topographical studies of the Paris environs as well as portraits of the noted Parisians. His studio was located at 81 rue S’Lazare.
