Description: This Woodburytype portrait of the Marquis of Salisbury, the Secretary of State for India, and the accompanying biographical notice appeared originally in the volume Men of Mark, second series, 1877, published in London by Lock and Whitfield. The two pages are stiff with age, but they are otherwise in good shape. The image of Salisbury is in excellent condition. Please see the images listed. This and the other individual Woodburytype portraits that I am selling came to me disassembled from their original volumes. I do not disassemble volumes, which is why I have recently sold a few complete volumes of Men of Mark.
