Description: Originating in 1958, the "Kau Idols", were introduced by the legendary carver, artist, designer, and owner of Witco Decor, William Westenhaver. His amazing art was heavily influenced by his time stationed in the South Pacific as well as the influx of Polynesian culture post WWII. These designs were passed down to William's granddaughter and grandson in law, Heather and Ken Pleasant over 20 years ago. Ken continues to carve the wonderful figures to this day. Among these, is, K-836, later referred to as "Polynesian Fishing God". This, Trader Vic's/ Witco Decor collaboration is a beautiful homage to the artistry and legacy of two very talented carvers. This mug is 11.5 inches tall and holds 28 ounces of refreshment. Double box packaging with professional material for a safe delivery. Shipped by USPS Priority mail with tracking number.
