This is the composite style head gasket. They seal extremely well, and do not require retorquing as with the metal clad head gaskets. Metal clad head gaskets require retorquing at 10 hrs, and 100 hours of operation. However, metal clad head gaskets can sometimes be reused. Composite style can never be reused after installation.
