Description: Who can resist the charm of Williraye Studios? Whimsical American folk art at it's finest, this piece was created by the the talented husband and wife team of Jim and Bobbe Schuknecht. Sadly, Williraye are no longer producing pieces since the death of Bobbe, so pieces are now in high demand. This piece was part of their Folk Dolls line released in 1997. With this piece the studio reimagined a rugged outdoorsy Mrs. Claus. The doll stands 18" tall with the use of a doll stand (not included) or can be sat charmingly upright in a doll chair. This line of folk dolls are made so their limbs are separate pieces all held together by leather straps to keep with the rustic theme. Mrs. Claus does have some damage as she was originally a store display. See pictures for damage in three places. She had a chip in her hair and on one shoe, both of which can be touched up with paint. At one point she held a candy cane in her mittened glove but the candy snapped off on both sides cleanly and can also be touched up easily enough. The missing candy cane is not included with the doll. Mrs. Claus will certainly add a rustic charm to your Christmas and Wintertime decor. We will combine items to save you on shipping, as well as offer local pickup. Mrs. Claus comes from a smoke-free home.
