Description: Brownfield Imari ironstone plate in the No. 115 “Avon” transfer pattern. This 1877 Brownfield & Son plate measures 10” and is in very nice antique condition. As the photos show, the plate is very clean with some typical fine crazing under glaze and light discoloring on the back. The bottom shows little wear for being 143 years old, and has the Brownfield & Son twin globe trademark with No. 115. There is impressed Brownfield, and 8/77 also. We have a matching water/milk jug (with Avon name in a banner), a 14” platter and a butter pat listed as well. Please take the time to look at the photos as they are part of the description and ask any questions before you decide to purchase. 120795 We do not pretend to be experts in anything, but try to describe as accurately as possible.
