Description: About 40 years ago, I decorated one room in my new home with a bird theme, especially hummingbirds. At that time, I did not come from a family that spent very much for decorations. I remember deciding not to tell anyone how much I paid for these beautifully carved hummingbirds. I also remember that I ordered them from China. I have never regretted spending that much money, but I did not display them long. I changed the theme of that room after just a couple of years, and I have safely stored this carving since then. I have now reached that age where I need to downsize my possessions, knowing that in a few years I will probably have to move to a much smaller place, hopefully a condo, and not a nursing home. I paid more than I am asking. These have a maker's mark on bottom. I am sorry if it is upside down, but I do not know which way is right. I used to ship items for free, but with the constant increase in postage rates, I now just charge a flat fee and therefore split the shipping with the buyer. I am charging a flat $6 for shipping for this item.. These are still in wonderful, great shape. I hope they bring you as much joy as they have given me.
