I try to describe my items as accurately as possible but, may miss something so, please contact me before leaving feedback. ITEM: Antique Little Black Sambo story book. Black Americana. Book was a favorite and has been read a million times and passed down from child to child. Please look closely at the photos as they serve as part of the description. Cover and edges show wear. There is writing on the inside cover page. Someone write in ink BOOK 9 (I'm guessing the child numbered each of their books, perhaps a future librarian?) The front cover also has the original price. Looks like 4 cents but it is very hard to read. Some discoloration on some of the front pages from age. Back cover has been creased.It has old tape on the inside back cover but the pages are not falling out at all.The book is 6 1/4" x 5 1/2". Very slight musty smell from age. I only mention this because some people might be sensitive. I am not and it doesn't bother me. Not in too bad of a condition for a well loved book that is 74 years old. Nonsmoking, pet friendly household. SHIPPING: Priority mail, or USPS Ground Advantage, whichever way is cheaper for the buyer.
