This auction is for a set of 10 Whiting Manufacturing Co Empire Fish Serving knife, and 1 Punch Ladle. The pieces are monogrammed with a Gothic B. The Ladle has a gold wash inside of the bowl, and the Fish knife has a gold washed blade with some wear to the gold on both sides. The punch ladle also has some spots inside the bowl (see picture). I don't have a scale so I am not able to disclose the weight of the set. The fish serving knife is approximately 9 3/4" long. The punch ladle is approximately 14 1/2" long. The pieces are marked with the word sterling, the Whiting lion with the "W" in the lions face, and Pat. Oct. 94. The spade is approximately 8 1/2" long. The ladle is also marked with the retailers name (hard to read the fulll retailers name but it ends in & sons. The pieces are rare to find, are very beautiful and ready for entertaining.
