It is very tolerant to different soil and weather conditions. It ripens 2 weeks earlier than the Concord. It is good for making champagne, and is great for juice and fresh eating. It is used for gourmet juice, white wines, jams and preserves. It is considered a superior wine variety. It is a seeded grape. Hardy zones 5-10.
