Description: This auction is for an original approximate 81"x81" six sheet movie poster for West Side Story starring Natalie Wood, Richard Beymer, Russ Tamblyn, Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, Simon Oakland, Ned Glass, and William Bramley. Directed by Jerome Robbins and Robert Wise. The poster is folded as issued is in very good, never used condition. The colors are vibrant and the Bob Peak artwork, which was only used on the six sheet and 24 sheet size, is gorgeous. There is small stain on one foldline and I included a closeup. I've also included and Academy Award snipe that came with the poster from National Screen Service. In one picture I laid the snipe on the poster as some theaters might have used it but it is not attached, it is a separate entity and was often thrown away so having it is rare in itself. This poster is extremely rare and collectable. It rarely comes to auction. Item is shipped well packaged, includes insurance and a signature request for delivery due to it's value.
