Description: Listed here is an 7” tall by 4” wide green Weller Velva vase. Velva pottery was produced from 1928 through 1933. There are no chips or hairlines, and the vase has not been repaired. The factory flaws are shown with emphasis on base grinding. One glaze pinhole may be seen on the edge of the left handle in pictures #1 & #2. A 1/8” oval of thin glaze is shown in the last two pictures. Interestingly, you can see an area of bisque stage grinding that is covered by green glaze. To me the question is, did all the dry foot grinding flakes and marks occur during production? You can judge whether the vase is in the factory’s original condition. This lovely green and pink glazed vase is a very good example of green Velva. Shipping is provided by the U.S. Postal Service via priority mail. Insured shipping within the continental U.S.A., will be at a cost of $14. Every effort is made to provide next day shipping. Payment is due within 5 days.
