It was authenticated and graded 2.0 ("Good") by Beckett / CBCS with "Off-White / White Pages". Beckett then sealed the book in a hard plastic case. Fakes for this issue are extremely common, which makes an authenticated / encapsulated book like this especially desirable. Fakes are fairly rare, with the exception of 4 books: Shonen Jump 1984 No. 51 (1st Dragon Ball); Shonen Jump 1999 No. 43 (1st Naruto); Shonen Jump 1998 No. 14 (1st Hunter X Hunter); and Shonen Jump 1997 No. 34 (1st One Piece). These fakes are fairly easy to identify if you've been collecting manga for a while, but if not, you need to be careful about buying these books from a reputable source unless they have been authenticated/graded.
